Helping No Kid Hungry Engage a New Generation of Supporters

You may not realize, but for one in six children in the U.S., hunger is a daily struggle. To help shed light on our nation’s need for food security and bring about change for those who need it most, Share Our Strength created the No Kid Hungry campaign. U.Group partnered with them to make their message accessible to a new generation of donors and activists through the redesign of the campaign’s flagship website:

With decades of old content and no plan forward, No Kid Hungry was looking to modernize their website to ease the burden on content administrators and increase engagement across major fundraising and outreach goals. To support these goals, U.Group needed to define and develop a new site architecture, design, and content strategy that would allow internal stakeholders to quickly create new content to attract their donor base. 


U.Group redesigned the site to put the No Kid Hungry mission front and center—effectively communicating the brand’s purpose by making the connection between the problem and the organization’s unique methods of tackling it. Using bold and emotionally-charged content, the redesigned site features visual stories, more display options for video content, as well as several easily-accessible conversion buttons. Call to actions including “sign-up” and “donate” were elevated to the top navigation bar and on the site’s home and subpages.


Taken together, the new and improved features a sleek, striking, web design that’s easy for admins to use and has resulted in increased conversion metrics for the group’s critical cause.
