The MarCom Awards is an international creative competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by marketing and communication professionals. Submissions come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies, freelancers, and more.
The competition is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), the industry’s preeminent third-party evaluator of creative work. Consisting of thousands of creative professionals from across the globe, the Association oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and sets standards for excellence.
This year, U.Group was honored with two Platinum awards for its brand identity work with IntelliBridge and for supporting the launch of NASA Earth Applied Sciences’ redesigned appliedsciences.nasa.gov website. Both projects scored between 90-100, IntelliBridge in the identity suite design category and NASA in the government website category.
IntelliBridge President & CEO, Cass Panciocco, had this to say about the recognition: “We are honored and pleased that the IntelliBridge brand identity initiative was recognized with a platinum award. The success of the initiative is due not only to the dedication of the IntelliBridge team that worked on the effort, but the expertise and professionalism of the U.Group account team that met our aggressive timeframe for completion and roll out of the new brand.”
Lawrence Friedl, Director, Applied Sciences Program at NASA Earth Science, expressed similar sentiments about the dedication of the U.Group team in shaping the organization’s communications goals: “Our website has been completely reimagined, from its new design and functions to its content and intuitive structure. It brings together four legacy sites, the technology is also more secure, the interface more user-friendly, and, even in just the short-time it’s been live, the experience much more engaging. It’s the platform we’ve always wanted—and needed—to better tell the story of the Program’s offerings and impact.”
These two MarCom award recognitions come on the heels of U.Group’s recent AIGA 50 wins, and are examples of the company’s reputation for using design and digital transformation to create new opportunities for customers across industries and sectors.
