Dr. Tyrone Grandison brings decades of experience in data and software engineering, security, and privacy to help you—our customers, clients, and partners—unlock new possibilities for data everyday.
Before joining as U.Group’s Vice President, Data, Tyrone served as Executive Director of The Data-Driven Institute, a public health non-profit that helps policymakers use data and technology to create more effective programs and policies. Devoted to using data for good, Tyrone now helps U.Group’s federal and commercial customers leverage data to impact their organizations, operations, and communities.

His impressive background and internationally-recognized accomplishments in data security and privacy speaks for themselves—but it’s Tyrone passion for using data to impact society and government that makes him a one-of-a-kind partner to our clients and a major force in the evolving world of complex data analysis and machine learning.
