As Chief Experience Officer, Russ Unger is responsible for the execution and delivery of U.Group’s Experience practices: User Experience, Strategy, Interaction Design, Experience Development, Content Strategy, and Solution Architecture/ Service Design. At their core, these practice areas blend human-centered strategies and commercial sector best practices to ensure your products, services, and processes are designed for the people who use them.
Prior to joining U.Group, Russ was the first Experience Design Director at 18F, the General Services Administration’s internal office to support the modernization and digital transformation of government services, where he helped build and shape the team responsible for ensuring a user-centered approach to everything that was worked on. Before his time at 18F, Russ was the Experience Design Director at GE Capital Americas where he helped stand up the Center of Excellence that focused on bringing a modern, human-centered approach to robust legacy applications.

Russ studied Interpersonal Communication/Public Speaking at Northern Illinois University.
