Mike Brophy provides design and video solutions to U.Group’s customers. Most notably, he created a video introducing users to a NASA web project, a messaging hype video for the Environmental Working Group that was shared by Kourtney Kardashian, and promotional videos for the U.S. Mint’s winter catalog. Mike excels at providing a strategic and creative approach to messaging—bringing stories to life through motion.
Before joining U.Group, Mike furthered his design skills as Creative Director of Veracity Media—a small, DC-based digital agency that focused on political and nonprofit clients. There, he built logical and well thought-out systems that delivered customers’ practical, usable, and beautiful results.
In 2012, Mike worked on the Obama For America digital team in Ohio, which jump-started his interest in the creative potential of the political and nonprofit worlds. These industries were a perfect fit for his knack for making powerful products given limited resources.
Mike holds a BS in Recording Arts from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University.
