Marc Rambeau is U.Group’s Director of Content Strategy. He leads the creation of useful, usable content to drive action and simplify services.
His approach is rooted in research. Marc’s content strategists, content designers and copywriters dig deep to cut through the cruft. They use plain language, data and testing to transform confusing, cluttered content. From editorial to experience, their mission is to make meaning out of chaos.
Marc has crafted content strategies for Fortune 500 companies, federal agencies and nonprofits. He reimagined the Department of Education’s information architecture for a grand prize win. His work with NASA brought home a Platinum MarCom Award. He has spoken about human-centered content strategy at industry events like Drupal GovCon. Most recently, he led strategy, design, development and migration for the new FTC.gov.
And Marc’s team puts people first. They’ve protected Americans from loan sharks at the CFPB. They’ve reimagined records at the National Archives. They’ve promoted public lands for the National Park Foundation and fought child hunger for No Kid Hungry. Clients have included the Environmental Working Group, Fairtrade America, NOAA and USDA.
Before joining U.Group, Marc helped lead digital transformation at the State Department. He supported the modernization of a $37 million portfolio of public diplomacy platforms.
Marc has been a writer, an editor, a producer and a strategist. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and a master’s from American University.
