Andrew Godbehere designs data tools to push the boundaries of human perception and understanding towards new discoveries. He strives for simple approximations and effective abstractions of complex systems. He aims to empower human insight and decision-making in uncertain and ever-changing environments. At U.Group, he is developing tools to model networks of interacting entities through text analysis.
Andrew’s diverse background includes sensing and signal processing methods for plasma physics, an interactive audio installation at a San Francisco museum controlled by real-time computer-vision, and a natural language processing startup for analyzing customer survey data.
Andrew holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley, and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
