In her role as Practice Lead, Amanda Nguyen makes sure you—our civilian and commercial customers—are receiving best-in-class service and solutions tailored to your needs. By getting to know U.Group’s clients and understanding their unique organizations, industries, and operating environments, Amanda leads the delivery team to solve complex challenges using the full breadth of U.Group’s capabilities.
Amanda draws upon her unique experience creating digital platforms and integrated strategies as she leads through change as both a civil servant and trusted strategist in the private sector. Amanda has led strategic design and implementation efforts in partnership with NASA, State Department, Federal Trade Commission, National Archives, National Park Foundation, U.S. Ignite, Better Medicare Alliance, MECU Baltimore’s credit union, and many more.
Previously, Amanda spent a decade serving as a communications and digital strategist at the Department of Agriculture. Named one of FedScoop’s “Top 25 Most Influential People Under 40 in Gov and Tech,” Amanda is a frequent lecturer at universities, and speaker at conferences in Australia, Austin, and beyond. She currently serves on the board of the American Advertising Federation DC Chapter (AAF DC) and is a member of the ACT-IAC Partners program.
Amanda holds a MA from George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs and a BAS from George Mason University.
